Study Abroad

Mission Statement:

The Study Abroad Office seeks to develop a community of global citizens by providing immersive and enriching study abroad opportunities that align with the Jesuit, humanistic tradition and Gonzaga’s curricula.  We support students in their efforts to study abroad to enhance and integrate their academic learning and personal growth in preparation for engagement in a world where interactions go beyond national borders.

Gonzaga University is ranked in the MASTER'S COLLEGES & UNIVERSITIES category for IIE’s Open Door Report:

  • #6 by total number of student abroad for a semester
  • #12 for the percentage of undergrads studying abroad by the time they graduate.  
  • #14 by total number of study abroad students.
  • 52.6 % of undergrad study abroad by the time of graduation

Appointments
All students are encouraged to speak with a Peer Ambassador before making an individual appointment with a study abroad advisor.
